Call for Participation ~Submit your Poster and/or Lightning-Talk proposal through EasyChair.

POSTERS - an opportunity to discuss a topic (research and/or project) related to the computer industry with participants at the conference.

Each winner of the Undergraduate and Graduate division will win a trip to the Grace Hopper 2013 conference!
Each poster submission must include a title and an abstract. The poster must be in poster form to present at the conference.
You may wish to submit the full poster as well. Do this by saving the poster in a PDF format. If you want to submit just the Title & Abstract, be sure to select "Abstract Only".
Submit your poster via EasyChair. (When using EasyChair to submit your poster, please designate "Poster" in the Title entry):

For example: "Security Basics for the Smart Grid" (POSTER)

More than one person may work on a poster, but only one prize will be given per poster.
You must bring your poster to the conference to be displayed and be prepared to explain and answer questions about your work.
The posters will be displayed on Friday, February 24, to allow participants and judges to view and ask questions. The announcement of winners will take place on Saturday, February 25 during the award ceremony.
Deadline for submission is February 3, 2012.
You will be notified by February 10, 2012 if your poster is accepted for the conference.
Tips for making posters.

LIGHTNING TALKS - an opportunity to share information about cutting-edge technical issues, relevant social issues dealing

with computing, career / graduate school tips, recruitment/retention efforts, etc.

Talks are limited to 5 minutes. (A timer will be used!)
Laptops installed with PowerPoint® 2010 will be available for your use if you wish to bring a presentation.
Submit your Lightning Talk via EasyChair. (When using EasyChair to submit your lightning talk, please designate "LIGHTNING TALK" in the Title entry):
